Photo a Day : Day 98

When I was young my parent's owned a wonderful Italian restaurant.  I remember my parents trying so hard to teach me the value of a dollar and unfortunately I remember never caring much about it at the time.  As I grew and had to start paying my own bills I quickly remembered the things my parents taught me while I was scrubbing dishes or bussing tables.  Since having my kids I have always wanted to be able to provide those same lessons to them.  I decided to make flyers for my photography business and have the girls take them around and put them on doorsteps all over town.   After we were done passing out the flyers, Maren got in the car and said, "Mom this work stuff is hard."  I smiled all the way home.  This is the first $5.00 bill they have ever earned on their own, I am one proud mama!!!
