You are my funny, my sweet, my lady, my May!
I watch you grow up and there is this part of me that is crushed that you aren't that little baby that can't say popsicle anymore. But I see this person inside of you and I'm blown away, then I can't wait for you to grow up and see who you will be. My biggest fear as a mother is that I will one day want you to be something....that I will somehow make you about me. I look at you and your sisters and I know that the Lord has given me you to watch over and to guide and not to mold and change. It's human nature to screw up...It's hard being human when you are a mother. I hope you see what I see in you, but I hope I see what you are.
Love you May.
